Summer Scholars Camp for AP*/Honors Students
This camp is for rising 9th and 10th graders. Your dedication to excellence and college preparation has led to you enrolling in Advanced Placement or Honors course during the 2024-25 school year. Please select FOUR classes based on classes you will take next year (2024-25). Please be sure to select a math, history, science, and english course.
Cost:
- There is NO COST to attend this camp for MSCS students.
- Non-MSCS (Chart, ASD, etc.) students may attend for $200, pending space availability.
Why Camp?
- The Summer Scholars Camp for AP*/Honors students will prepare you for the challenges of a college level course.
Goals of the Camp:
- To have fun while engaging in honors/AP-level academics.
- To learn how to manage a demanding course load by developing the organizational and study skills that you can take with you to college.
- To prepare for specific courses you will take next year with class-specific workshops.
When: June 10th - 14th, 2024
Time: Monday -Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and Friday: 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
Where: The University of Memphis - Engineering Science Building
